well its basicly here,the end of 2007,and hasn't it gone quick ! as i sit here typing this out i've relised that i haven't actually acheived anything,sure ive done stuff but they've not been what i would concider an achevement, sure i've gotten older and started alot like i've got a lot of infomation to get the proper computer qualifications so i can go into that as a career and maybe 'tabled' a few things,i've met a few new people,had a few new experinces and ive caught up with some old freinds from school,ive also lost contact with people aswell and see people come and go whether it is virtual or RL,*heh* its funny i had a plan for this,how its gonna be laid out but its no where near...
Anyway these are the things that has happened in the year (in no paticular order)

Went to a Voltaire concert
Got more active with MADS
started being more active with my VBlogs (facebook,MySpazz,ect..)
left Anarchy Online for Tabula Rasa
improved my computer
started a family (the most important one,you might say,but i put that down to invetability)
caught up with a load of Wcomics
been married a year
changed my dept at work
increased my Pratchett and Gaiman collection
*its a little difficult to remember what i did because i wasn't paying that much attention at the time*
assisted with 'Last of the Red Hot Lovers' sound at MADS
watched my freinds achevements come to fruitition
stop drinking for a few months due to an incident i'd rather forget *HINT* plum177 *
learnt HTML and how annoying Vista is

it isnt a long list i know but thats the main bits of the year,its funny that you can spool off a load of stuff and most of it is day-to-day stuff but a few things make the year,'07 i think was a interesting year emotionly aswell but thats something i will keep to myself and to the other person it concerns.....

to all the people who have wayyy more time on their hands than i, i'm getting a tatt after chrimbo as one of my prezzies and i know what style i want but i need to look through some designs and Skin Creations (teh local tatt and pirceing parlor) wont let me look through their Vince Ray tatt flash book and were very cagey about it (and a little rude,which is usual because they're usually cool) anyway my dilemma, i need a site which has some on so i can peruse through...

i be in a virtual maelstrom,ive been playing Anarchy Online for about 3 years now but resently ive not really been on it and ive come to sort of a decision that i want to quit,ive been on a beta of Tabula Rasa and do have Guild Wars on the go but the online community is practically non existent so if anyone has any ideas of any good MMO's lemme know and gimme 5 reasons why (if its WOW 10 reasons :P*)

WOW ! that was an event to remember !! as you may or may not know,ive been playing in a beta of a new MMO called (obviously) Tabula Rasa and the last day was today,the devs decided to hold an event where ya had to kill a certain NPC called General British who was being played by the 'author' Richard Garriott... but i couldn't get near the biznich A) because of the sheer amount of players and mobs in the area i was i was practically rooted to the spot and B) he had to choose a high level spot that i couldn't reach (grr.....) anyway because it was the end of the beta,everyones chars get wiped :'( so i'm gonna be starting from scratch...meh no biggie

feelings wise,i be well although,i seem to have acquired a reputation at Tesco where i work,as you know,they do silly 'dress' days and a couple of days ago,they had a Halloween promo thang where we got cheap and silly Halloween items to wear and of course i got given some and....well theres a pic on MySpace,anyway today was 'Dress in Pink' day where we go non uniform if ya had something pink on and i got more looks due to the fact that i WASN'T dressed up than if i had....go figure......

Damn this....er...damn machine !!!

ok,this damn machine is pissing me off,ive spent most of today getting rid of games,pics and other junk and tweaking it to within an inch of its life and still its slow and Tabula Rasa (i managed to get in with the open beta,go me ) is choppy and freezing up so i may have to bite the bullet and reformat and install a *ahem* copy of Vista (i have a BT whore who randomly gives me stuff,dunno why) anyway if im offline for a day or so,thats what im doing ....

meh,today went well on my first shift on the .com section at work got up ok (:P* and you thought i couldnt do it ) anyway,fucked up a bit because of sleep depravation/interuption and headcold of death,'twas a quick shift and i was soon back at home and on Deus Ex,thing is i have now completed it and im screwed for stuff to do as ive completed most if all of my games (ok mnot Quake Wars but i don't feel like playing online,i hate when this happens............

well nowt much to report except that i'm moving dept within the hub of all evil known as Tesco , after what seems like an eternity of good service on produce *snigger* i have been offered a job on our .com dept and the good thing about it is that i get saturdays off which rocks muchly *nods*, i know that its early mornings (people love to tell me that,like i didn't know already) but the sats off is a big pro, in regards to the early morn starts,it wont be a bother because i will be up anyway come April because of the little one.
We also have a appointment for the scan which i think is on the 16th *see i told ya ;)* so i will scan the pic and post to MYspazz

mood wise,i seem to be coming out if this transitional mood ok,people have moved on but i still keep in touch so......meh, i am however concerned about two of my dearest and dearest atm,one has a serious problem with their partner (as in they're in a spot of trouble and i'm very concerned about them going up to visit) and the other has seen a person from their past and it troubled them deeply and of course,i'm concerned also my feelings for a certain person,which i thought i'd grew out of seems to be coming back,this is not what i need right now and it may end up me taking some drastic measures......

just a quickie but this is really a kinda of a big thing but don't want to get people worked up but there's a real chance i could be daddy sticks....
Christina has been feeling 'off' as late and since an opportunity as arose she bought 2 home test kits,tried them and BOTH were positive so she heading to the docs to DOUBLE check.
my thoughts on this is i don't feel ready for this AT ALL and with most things its been sprung upon me like an evil jack in the box (fun in theory) so melady is sorta enjoying this her family has been informed so its a matter of time until mine get told,i didn't want to tell anyone until this was confirmed but Chrissie had to run around and praticly broadcast it to the whole damn world,i wanted it to stay within a select few until....y'know...
anyway i know its daft saying that 'i didn't want to tell people' and then put it on Lj but i can keep this in a select circle of people until i'm damn well ready
no bugger listens to me anyway........

well i haven't updated this in a while so ill blow the dust off and put something in,its been a vey uneventful few weeks,ok i bought a really nice coat but i've bandied that around a lot so meh,ive been lost in a sorta weird 'transitional' mood of late but it hasn't been my own,let me explain...

as some of you know plum177 is leaving for uni (yay !) at the end of sept and of course i wish her the best but.....ok ...ill admit it....i'll miss her ...a bit :P its not the fact that she aint in macc its the fact that i wont be able to go bother her almost when i want....meh anyway thats not the only thing,ive known gemmybear7 a good while now and i count her within my close circle of friends,we both play (or played,in this case) AO but suddenly i find out shes leaving AO for *grumbles* World of frickin' Warcraft !!! i dont mind that...much but its the fact that two of my close friends are gonna be beyond.....i dont know.....

its just making me feel sorta left behind in the dust....

on saturday,i had my money stolen,some little bastard actually went in my bag and took £30 out of my wallet and so i was totally pissed off for the rest of the night,the night went fairly well but as the night went on and i got tired (this was pushing 5am) the combination of fatigue,drink and anger put me in a silly mood and in my own,unique way ie stomping off,in silence, i hurt people i care about and i would just like to say sorry for being a complete dick but i hope you understand i was really pissed off about my cash *hugs*

well it had to happen,we couldn't hold off any longer, we smelled.....
it was all well and good being careful with water but boiling enough water to get a good shower wasn't gonna happen quickly and any amount of deodrant wont mask the smell, so we decided to test if the virus is water-bourne,we got a hunk of meat ( silly to waste resources like this but we had to check) we put the meat into the bath and left it for a few hours,thankfully nothing happend to it.
I let plum177 go first (at the time it was me,plum177 and my wife (not on LJ) ) while i scouted on the internet for more info, i switch on GSP for some music,and i hear shygoth is still alive and transmitting ! he sounded worried,i think hes trying to rally some survivors or just calming himself down.
After we showered and sorted ourselves out,we went of a loot raid, i needed some more medical supplies and we all needed extra food, i think someone followed us because we're getting wounded coming over to us for treatment,glad the waters safe i'm getting blood and 'other' stuff on me (only one Faid trained), i need another shower........

putting the canteen back in my backpack, i stand up and look around,deciding the best way forward, i spot a small group of zombies,they haven't spotted me,since my first recon, i' ve learned some of the habits of the walking dead, they hang around in groups, usually more than 5 or 6 and yes , as plum177 said they find stairs a problem we still have no idea why but i've theorized that its due to dead leg muscles and the re-aminmation process drains most of the energy of the victim, they also have a very good sense of smell, i saw this in action upon finding a wounded survivor,after bandaging his wounds and carrying him to a safer (or what i thaught was) a safer place, i find i'm plunging my blade into his head an hour later,nicely bringing me to my next point : their weak point, yes the movies are true,head shots/blows work.

have got to plum177s house with the camera i just hope i wasn't followed...........

losing my mind.....

*sigh* i seem to be losing my frail grip on things atm,ive been going into a weird 'moody' mood quite alot and not being able to keep myself *whats the word.....* i dunno, well,my concentrations gone to pot a bit as well (as you can probably tell) it seems to be hurting a few people when i go 'sproggly' (thats my word for it,its as good a word as i can use,meh) and its sinks me further into it.....i dunno maybe i need a total change of not lifestyle per se but a new direction or......something,somethings gotta change,it has to..........

Well, im back from Leeds which was really cool,the reason we went over there (like we need one but meh) was to see a couple of friends from Anarchy Online and basicly get out of Macclesfield.
The jouney up was fairly uneventful but when we got up there,the first thing we did was almost get lost,i was like 'get out of the station and sense of direction go bye,bye' we asked a cabbie and he gave very vauge directions so we went back to the station and got the directions from Kris (my AO mate) but his advice was to get a taxi *shugs* so we spent the first nite mainly in the hotel,the next day we ventured into Leeds itself via Kris showing us the shops and the Giant Tit aka The Corn Exchange and we went shopping,we were just meant to pick up something for the club that night (btw was really good but the execessive strobe really kicked my ass :( ) but i spotted a Comic book store and well.....y'know me ; ) anyway, we got our clothes.i bought a really cool black 'pirate' shirt and Chrissie gota v nice red,velvet dress.
We did the club (ok i got a little drunk but meh) and got back to the club,still feeling disorientated from the strobe so i wasnt feeling great (and the kebab on the way tasted great first time,not the second). Next day we ventured into leeds ourselves (shock,horror we actually found our way around ; ) ) to grab something to take the taste of the kebab away,that night we got taken out again to this cool,little Goth club with comfy bean bags which i almost nested in,had a few drinks and just chilled (well i did, Kris and Anna danced ) to the great music ; )
we'll defo do that again ; )
